We look forward to seeing you at The CEO Summit at Liberty University. It is our honor to sponsor the event this year. Our founder and CEO, Trey Sheneman, is a two-time Liberty University alumni. As a special gift to you for attending the event, we would love to offer you a free copy of Trey’s book that comes out in October 2025.

The COMPASS Method: How Modern Brands Grow Revenue Faster is a field guide hewn from nearly 20 years of Trey’s experience overseeing growth at many well-known brands - for people like John Maxwell and Dave Ramsey. In the book, Trey walks through the exact process we use now at Herald to help our clients hit predictable top-line growth in industries ranging from healthcare to SAAS to education, home services, and more. We hope you will read the book, do what it says, and grow your business like never before.

“Write the vision and make it plain so that the herald can run with it.” – Habakkuk 2:2

Meet Trey Sheneman,
Founder & CEO at Herald

I had the vision for Herald while running my first agency in 2011.

In 2010, my wife and I had both been laid off and were $95,000 in debt, not counting our house. We ended up on food stamps.  Someone took a wild leap of faith with me in 2011 and helped me start my first agency.

When our office opened, my wife walked in with a plaque that had Habakkuk 2:2 on it - “Write the vision and make it plain, so the herald can run with it.” It was then that I knew one day I would own my business outright and call it Herald.

Over the next 12 years, I had great runs heading up growth for large, national brands from both the agency side and the client side. I even started moonlighting with a consulting business because I love the work of building brands so much. It was this business that I finally left corporate America to start, branded as Herald, in 2023.

Herald exists to build brands that feel Hollywood grade. But we want to stand on our principles as we are Holy Word made. Our faith position calls us to a higher standard - so hold us to it!

our $100M Mission:
